Animals are smarter than we give them credit for. Sure, they’re not *so* smart that the average person feels bad eating them, but still, there’s something about animal intelligence that’s both impressive and difficult to understand.

On that topic, we know that many different types of animals can develop preferences about their surroundings. This elephant, for example, doesn’t want to have his photo taken — and he’s gonna be quick to let this girl know that.
